Sun Tzu, also known as Sun Wu or Sunzi, was an ancient Chinese military strategist believed to be the author of the acclaimed military text, The Art of War. Details about Sun Tzu s background and life are uncertain, although he is believed to have lived c. 544-496 BCE. Through The Art of War, Sun Tzu s theories and strategies have influenced military leaders and campaigns throughout time, including the samurai of ancient and early-modern Japan, and more recently Ho Chi Minh of the Viet Cong and American generals Norman Swarzkopf, Jr. and Colin Powell during the Persian Gulf War in the 1990s.

the book is only a short version of the hardcover version and if I would have been informed
porper of that this version is only a sample writting with a handful pages; I would have order the

Authority, Name, Foreword, Credential?

Quick service.
Though, I have second guessed this purchase. It has no forward. No translation tips. No evidence of credential or authoritative backing in regards to the content of this text. This is a huge concern. Who translated? All I know is it was published by Simon and Brown. This is one of the most important pieces of literature and ancient Chinese text, that needs some kind of discussion by anyone.
Good thing to consider.

Product was delivered to me in excellent condition. It was a good read. I highly recommend it for anyone who is into this kind of thing. It's actually not as long as I thought it would be. It's more of a booklet than anything else but it was interesting.
